Workers’ Compensation
Injured on the job? When your authorized treating physician prescribes medical equipment, we process the order through your employer’s workers’ comp carrier or TPA — obtaining authorization, delivering the equipment and submitting the claim to them.
How It Works
Workers’ compensation covers reasonable and necessary medical care for an accepted work-related injury, including medical equipment prescribed by the authorized treating physician. In most cases the carrier or its third-party administrator (TPA) must authorize the equipment before delivery.
We handle that for you. With the physician’s order and the claim information, we send the request and supporting documentation to the adjuster and follow up until it is authorized. We then deliver the equipment and submit the claim to the carrier. For approved claims, injured workers typically pay nothing out of pocket.
Physician offices and case managers can fax everything to (844) 416-0360.
Our Process
We receive the physician’s prescription and the claim details — by fax at (844) 416-0360, by email, or through our online request form.
We verify coverage with the workers’ comp carrier, TPA or auto insurer and obtain authorization for the prescribed equipment.
Once authorized, we deliver the equipment to the patient, set it up and explain how to use it safely.
We submit the claim to the insurance carrier with the authorization and documentation, and follow up until it is processed.
Equipment
Back and shoulder strains, fractures, crush injuries, surgeries and burns are among the most common work injuries. Equipment we regularly provide on workers’ comp claims includes:
Manual, lightweight, transport and power wheelchairs, with cushions and accessories.
Semi- and full-electric home hospital beds, pressure-relief mattresses and accessories.
Standard and wheeled walkers, rollators, underarm and hands-free crutches, and canes.
LSO and TLSO back braces and cervical collars for back and neck injuries.
Knee braces, ankle braces and walking boots for fractures, sprains and post-surgical care.
Shoulder immobilizers, slings, wrist braces and hand and finger splints.
Prescribed bone growth stimulators for slow-healing fractures and spinal fusion.
Custom-measured and standard compression garments, stockings, sleeves and gloves.

FAQ
When a work injury claim is accepted, equipment prescribed by the authorized treating physician is paid by the employer’s workers’ compensation carrier or its third-party administrator (TPA). We obtain the authorization and submit the claim to them directly.
In most cases, yes. Ask your physician to send the order to us, or contact us yourself and we will coordinate with your doctor and your adjuster. Some carriers use preferred provider networks — we confirm this before delivery.
For approved workers’ compensation and auto accident claims, we submit the claim directly to the insurance carrier or claims administrator, so patients typically pay nothing out of pocket. Coverage is decided by your carrier and the status of your claim. If anything is not covered, we tell you before delivery.
We do. After delivery, we submit the claim to the workers’ comp carrier, TPA or auto insurer with the authorization, HCPCS codes, physician order and proof of delivery, and we follow up until the claim is processed. Patients do not need to file anything for the equipment.
We stay in contact with the adjuster while a claim is pending and let you know as soon as a decision is made. If the equipment is not authorized, we explain your options before anything is delivered.
Send us the prescription and claim details. We verify coverage and obtain authorization, deliver the equipment, and submit the claim to the insurance carrier for you.
