Ordering

How an equipment order works

Physician offices and claims professionals can send orders by fax or online. Patients can start a request themselves and we coordinate with the physician.

  1. Step 1

    Order Intake

We receive the physician’s prescription and the claim details — by fax at (844) 416-0360, by email, or through our online request form.

  2. Step 2

    Insurance Verification & Authorization

We verify coverage with the workers’ comp carrier, TPA or auto insurer and obtain authorization for the prescribed equipment.

  3. Step 3

    Delivery & Setup

Once authorized, we deliver the equipment to the patient, set it up and explain how to use it safely.

  4. Step 4

    Claim Submission & Billing

We submit the claim to the insurance carrier with the authorization and documentation, and follow up until it is processed.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you need to start an equipment order?

A prescription or order from the treating physician, the patient’s name, date of birth and phone number, the date of injury, the insurance carrier or claims administrator, and the claim number. The adjuster’s name and phone number help us obtain authorization faster.

Do I have to pay for my equipment?

For approved workers’ compensation and auto accident claims, we submit the claim directly to the insurance carrier or claims administrator, so patients typically pay nothing out of pocket. Coverage is decided by your carrier and the status of your claim. If anything is not covered, we tell you before delivery.

Who submits the claim to the insurance company?

We do. After delivery, we submit the claim to the workers’ comp carrier, TPA or auto insurer with the authorization, HCPCS codes, physician order and proof of delivery, and we follow up until the claim is processed. Patients do not need to file anything for the equipment.

How quickly will my equipment be delivered?

We schedule delivery as soon as the prescription is received and the carrier authorizes the equipment, and we keep the patient, physician and adjuster updated. Having the claim number and adjuster contact ready is the best way to speed things up.

Have a prescription for medical equipment?

Send us the prescription and claim details. We verify coverage and obtain authorization, deliver the equipment, and submit the claim to the insurance carrier for you.
