Insurance
We submit claims to workers’ compensation carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), managed care companies and auto insurers, including:
Carrier names are trademarks of their respective owners and are listed only to identify the insurers we submit claims to; this does not imply endorsement. Coverage depends on the policy and claim approval. Don’t see your carrier? Contact us — we work with many other carriers and TPAs.
Fax the prescription with the patient’s name, date of birth, phone, date of injury, carrier and claim number to (844) 416-0360, or email info@mercymedicalequip.com. We take it from there.
FAQ
For approved workers’ compensation and auto accident claims, we submit the claim directly to the insurance carrier or claims administrator, so patients typically pay nothing out of pocket. Coverage is decided by your carrier and the status of your claim. If anything is not covered, we tell you before delivery.
We do. After delivery, we submit the claim to the workers’ comp carrier, TPA or auto insurer with the authorization, HCPCS codes, physician order and proof of delivery, and we follow up until the claim is processed. Patients do not need to file anything for the equipment.
